Description
Coated Compression end mill
- A compression endmill combines downcutting and upcutting flutes. As a result, the cutting force is directed towards the material on both sides simultaneously, thus eliminating chipping on fragile materials, such as melamine or birch ply.
- The upcutting portion is usually 1-2 diameters long and must be completely submerged into the material to be effective.
- Made of carbide.
